Mr. Postman

I heard a knock on the door. Then a quick scuffling of feet down the stairs. I opened the door and what did I find?

I quickly scooped up the envelope and hurried inside. I locked the door behind me. I didn't want anyone to find out that I had this:

Needless to say I was in a state of shock and awe at my wonderful luck!

Shock

Awe

I was excited as a schoolgirl on Christmas morning as I tore open the package. It was all here. The complete Stacy From Louisville Bible College Survival Pack. The Pocket protector, the floaties, the pantyhose (which incidentally were never explained) even the nose candy (not what you are thinking, get your minds out of the gutter). So naturally, actually more like unnaturally, I had to try everything on.

Can you believe it? As soon as I put it on I could feel psalms and proverbs were getting ready to proverbially come flying out of my mouth! Anyways, much thanks for the wonderful gift package, If only I had received my honorary diploma I would have been set.

LOL - Bub, you are such a crack-up!!! The pantyhose on your legs is just so wrong, but they look really good on your head. The nose candy is disgusting! I'm actually jealous that I didn't win. Oh wait, I didn't even play. Congratulations! I loved the play-by-play photos. And, btw...
I like your PUMPKIN porch mat. :)

Hey, how come you don't answer these comments very often?

I laughed out loud! The entire entry was fantastic! I'm giving you a big shout out tomorrow and throwing traffic to your blog.

SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!

Brenda- That's a good question. I think mainly because I read them from my gmail account and not the blog itself. I'm inherantly lazy so to push a couple more buttons to answer comments seems almost too much. But for you, here I am! LOL you NOTICED my pumpkin porch mat! Is a pumpkin doormat an indictment of my feelings for all things pumpkin? I believe my house smells like a pumpkin as well. Oh, and I will work on puttint the chord charts for those songs together, I've never tried before but I'm sure there's some program for it.

Stacy - Thanks for the shoutout I had a lot of fun opening everything up and goofing off with them, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks bub, I feel privileged. :)
That's really nice of you to do the chord charts for me. I'm excited!!! I like all 4 songs, but I was too embarrassed to ask. Divided is probably too fast for me to play anyway. But I'd like it on my ipod to go running to.

LOL - you are a funny dude!

I thoroughly enjoyed your play-by-play. So what does that say about me? I dunno.

BTW you can take off the hose now. I know, you didn't think I could still see you, huh?

Yep, you're sure to make it through now... may God be with you.

Hey Bub,

I came over here from Stacy's and after checking out some of your blogs, I have to ask if Letty ever lived in Hawaii when she was younger. I had a friend from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and her name was Letty. I was just thinking of her the other day and then I found your blog. She looks a little like her too, but we are a lot older so I can't be sure. My friend's last name was Thompson (not sure of the spelling). Anyway... I thought I'd ask. Sherri

Sundog - Hi, thanks for dropping by! Not that I know of although she's not always forthcoming about where she's been in her life. LOL J/K She's lived in San Diego her whole life. I bet she wishe she WAS her though, Hawaii sounds nice!
