Quiet

If y'all are wondering why I'm so quiet lately, I believe it's because I'm in a season (maybe most overused word in American Christendom) of God telling me to shut the F up. And listen. So I'm listening. I'm hearing. It's all good. I'm sure that I'll be back soon. It's hard to shut up a talking donkey like myself for too long. Loving God, Jesus, my family, my Church, and my country more than ever.

It's very wise of you to take a break and just listen if that's what you hear God saying right now. I miss reading your words though. Praying that you will feel a deeper love and connection with Him.

It's much harder to be quiet than it is to speak. That's for sure. We all have opinions and advice if not there'd be no blogs or advice colums or magazines etc. Take care!

I was going to ask you why you had been absent, but when I got to your blog you had already answered that. I don't think God uses the F word though.

Bub, The art of silence isn't one I've fully mastered...My dad (although quite a talker) used to say, "talk is cheap" and "less is more." My grandfather, a brilliant man used to not say much; when he did, everyone listened.

I chatted back with you on my blog response thing. Loved your comments.

Dangit Bub... first you, then Los, now Anne. What the heck? Okay, I'll try to be patient. Hope you'll write again eventually. Thanks for stopping by occasionally though. I appreciate your comments. :)

Just read your twitter. Have a fun day playing guitar with your buddy Ron. Sounds fun! Are you writing some new songs?
