Feeling a little insecure about my masculinity

Here are the results of my genderanalyzer.com analysis. How 'bout them Padres huh? Who's watching the Super Bowl this weekend? I love that recipe...DOH! They got me!

Silhouette of a womanWe guess http://godmeandpoker.blogspot.com is written by a woman (57%), however it's quite gender neutral.

Is this correct?

hahaha. It's all the compassion that you have. I still don't get your blog post updates on my dashboard. Things that don't work correctly really frustrate me! I think I'll just keep you on my blog roll anyway. I've already added and removed you about twenty times......and it still doesn't update. Oh well.

Talk to you later Chicka!

:D

I tried to vote "NO"! but it didn't work. That's kind of funny but sad too. You seem very manly to me. I agree with Lorna that it must be your compassionate heart. (That's Whispers name, isn't is?)

So who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl?

Hi Bub,

I'm actually responding to the previous post. Wow. I was really touched by Mara's self-disclosure and your response. On my blog, you mentioned feeling touched by my writings on my parents' addictions, although in those posts, I only allude to the impact of that on my life. If we talk at some point, I'd love to hear your perspective, as well as share my mom's story more in-depth. But yes - I have the co-dependency flaw and thank God for Ala-non. I don't even know you but your recovery, honesty and compassion is beautiful. I can see that in your musings.

So - Super Bowl. It is my ardent wish that the Steelers are going down! The Chargers must be avenged, plus I like Fitzgerald.

My best friend is named Stephanie. She is a true angel and soul sister, plus has the most AMAZING singing voice. Our lives are very different in that she is a wife and mother and I'm not but it doesn't matter - we're still super close.

What do I like about me? I don't know. I mean I can admit positive attributes and I'm comfortable in my own skin but it's a hard question on a deeper level. The heart is fragile and I'm all too aware of where I am broken.

Bub,
Don't pay any attention to the results of that test. If you are a musician/songwriter that makes you more or less a poet even if you only set your words to music.
This means you have an artistic side that not all men have or acknowledge. And you are in good company. King David from the Bible was a songwriter too. And no one called his masculinity in to question. I pity the fool who ever tried.

I guess I write this about you because I see the same things in my spouse. We don't get into sports. (hence the reason my husband is sleeping like a baby before his third shift and I'm on-line while you are watching the Superbowl. Don't hate us, but we just don't care who wins or even who is playing.)

It was my husband who picked out the colors for our kitchen. Sage green and burnt orange. Most guys would look at it and say, yeah, green and orange. What do spices (sage) and cooking steaks (rare, medium, welldone, burnt) have to do with it?

But nobody would ever call my dear one's masculinity into question either. I pity the fool who tries.

Hi, Lise. Hope to make the rounds of the blogs that belong to this cool circle of friends.
